Mai oui, c’est true. The famous gourmet eatery will appear on all 15 of Holland America Line’s luxury liners. It should prove some of the best food at sea.
It’ll cost passengers extra of course, $39 a pop or $59 each with wine for the privilege of dining large and well. It’s worth it though. Although I haven’t sailed with HAL recently, I can’t honestly say that the food was that great. Edible with some dishes better than others, but nothing to gain weight over.
The fleet’s alternative dining venues did however dish out better fare, when last I cruised.
So this is particularly music to the taste buds of foodies planning to sail on HAL.
